ABOUT ME.

Born in suburban Kuala Lumpur, on a January mid-morning of the 26th, her life seemed destined to be normal. But she decided normal is for the boring conformist, so she developed her own mind instead. Coming to think of it none of her family members are ever normal to begin with - her mother had chosen Islam at the ripe age of 14, her father and youngest brother are quite possibly living McGyvers, her two brothers are made to be chefs and her sister is a writer extraordinaire. Don't take this account seriously - she's hyperbolically exaggerating. It's what she tends to do.

Her right brain is constantly functioning without fail - she's always finding ways to be creative around many things, many of her attempts of which failed miserably. Her goal is to give out free copies of The Yellow Wallpaper to every stranger she meets on the streets at Central Market and laugh at them as they look upon horror at the painting of a naked woman's back view featured on the cover - as well as striving for a professional career in order to be financially stable by the time she moves on to pursue her dreams to be a designer.

She loves music, books, games and all things art - anything that stimulates her right brain automatically goes into her endless list of inspiration. Artistically, she is influenced by an array of artists ranging from Akira Toriyama and Tetsuya Nomura all the way to Neil Gaiman and Nizam Bachok. She is also easily influenced by friends who draw better than her, even though these friends constantly try to convince her otherwise.

She is into a lot of things. Give her curry puffs, otak-otak, Japanese food, kuay teow, fried catfish drizzled in sambal, chocolates or cheese cake and you've found a way to sedate her. Treat her to Starbucks and she'll find a way to treat you to something better the next time you both meet. Give her anything she can build her creativity on as a birthday gift - and you've hit the jackpot. Talk to her about Legacy of Kain, Dragon Ball, Kingdom Hearts, games - or politics - in general and she'll be incredibly, annoyingly chatty.

She's a very vocal Muslim who abhors narrow-mindedness, and a rather compulsive Grammar Nazi. She takes pride in her nation, even though the politics in Malaysia is enough to drive anyone nuts.

She really doesn't know why she's writing her own short biography in third-person. Perhaps she wanted to follow "Skullduggery Pleasant" writer Derek Landy's footsteps in "being able to finally refer to herself in the third person without looking pompous and insane".
